Carol Ludlum Collier is registered with Yoga Alliance at the 500-hour level. She is working towards her certification as a yoga therapist in the three-year Comprehensive Yoga Therapy Training program at YogaLife Institute in Wayne, PA. She began her training at Anahata Yoga and Wellness in Lederach, PA in the 200-hour teacher training program in 2015. Carol teaches yoga from the Kripalu tradition, weaving the classical aspects of yoga as a spiritual practice into her classes.
A typical class focuses on the breath and active poses to bring about a sense of well-being and relaxation. Challenges are offered, as well as pose modifications, to nurture and care for the body and spirit in a safe atmosphere. One student stated, “Carol’s yoga class is like taking a mini-vacation every week.”
When she discovered yoga over 25 years ago, she knew she had found a lifelong passion that allowed her to be physically active while mindfully meditative. Carol’s favorite pose is the Sun Salutation for its gracious, flowing motion, balancing the seven chakras, and instilling a sense of power, confidence, and joy.
Off the mat, Carol provides software consulting to law firms and healthcare, plays the fiddle, and loves spending time with her husband Neal and growing family of three children, their spouses and grandchildren.
